mplayer plugin problem 2nd thread

hi group

am tring to add the mplayer 2.66 plugin to my mozilla browser 1.7.3

i tried 2 or 3 things that are in the other thread of this subject :

they did not work , the last thing i did is paste/copied the
mplayerplug-in.so to the plugin directory and the mplayerplug-in.xpt
to the components directory
the mozilla sees the plugin but it is not working , i intered the
direct media
link to the mozilla and after several att. i get this mess. in the
screen :

Toolkit mismatch mozilla (GTK1) , plug-in (GTK2)

what does that mean and how to make it work

any help appriciated
