Default Need help on Debian + Compaq ProLiant

Hi everyone! I wish to ask for help on resolving a problem with
installing a Debian system (or any Linux actually) on a Proliant
machine. As soon as the installation software starts to install kernel
modules, the mount command fails with an "Invalid argument" message -
seems like it is unable to mount CDROM propoerly for installation.
This is even more strange as the cdrom boots normally when I start to
install the system from CD and everything seems ok.

I have:
Compaq Proliant ML570 & Debian Woody, installing the BF_24 flavor with
standard installer.
