| Looking to reduce my depdendency on Windows, I downloaded and installed Mepis (a Debian-based distro) onto a Dell Lattitude laptop Everything went OK, except that I can't get any PCMCIA network cards to work, and as a total newbie to OSS operating systems I don't know where to go from here. lspci says "00:3.0 Cardbus bridge:TI PCI1225 (rev 01)" lsmod shows "pcmcia_core 39496 0 [3c589_cs ds yenta_socket]" I'm guessing that it sees the pcmcia nic, but have no idea where to go from here. Telling me to go RTFM is fine, as long you also tell me which FM it is as well TIA, Paul |
