| Had already spending 4 nights on the Debian Linux installation. Can anyone please help me on this? I'm trying to install Debian Linux on my powerbook G4, after reading almost the whole installation menu, i finally understand I need to run boot the CD by using the OpenFirmware. i had also spilit the partitions, 1 for linux, 2 for mac, and 3 for exchange file. ok, i follow all the procedures, and now i stuck on the hard disk issue. The installation program cant find any hard disk when i select "partition a hard disk"! so i tried initialize a linux partition, and it said " no ext2 partitions that had not already been mounted were detected." almost my hair were pulled off and i still cant figure out why... | partition magic is capable of formatting the partition to EXT2 and I know red hat had the option to format both to EXT2 and EXT3 during the os installation.
