Default NIS and IPTABLES, what ports to allow ?

Hi,

i am setting up NIS for the first time. I get it running by doing an
iptables -F on both the client and the sercver, to simplify the setup. Now I
want to use iptables correctly. I rebooted my client, to get the original
iptables entries. Now when i run ipbind -d I get "host 'hostname' doesn't
answer", which I am assuming means I have to open some ports to let the
traffic from the server in. However, I have not been able to findout what
port NIS uses.

Any help out there ?

TIA
Joe Simon
