Default OpenSSL Client Server Programming in C on Unix?

I am new to Openssl programming .
I just downloaded the client/server example from
http://www.opensslbook.com/code.html

In the above example I am running server3 and client3. This example
runs fine when on the same computer. I want to change it so that it can
run on different machine with different ip addresses.( may be passed at
command line or can be hardcoded too)
I am unable to resolve this issue.
Does anyone know how to do this?
