Default Possible to install older versions of mysql via YUM?
Hi all...

I'm trying to install mysql version 4.0.26. This is due to a programmer
stating that their code only works on this build (please, no comments
about hiring another programmer).

What I need to know is if I can install previous versions of mysql via
yum.

I'm on FC4.

I think you will have to install manually unless the rpm installs in a
separate location.
As long as the files are not overwritten and there are separate init
scripts for each version, the only problem will be configuring them to
operate simultaneously.
