| I have a Redhat 9 server with an HP LaserJet 2100 locally attached. It is serving print jobs through Samba. On large (but not huge - around 250K seems to be the line) print jobs, it is timing out. Lpq indicates that the printer is stalled. If I restart lpd, it will resume printing. Is there a timeout parameter I can set to fix this? The primary purpose of this printer is to print large jobs (hundreds of pages), so this is an important issue. |
