this is an old question.. some user from Microsoft Window enviroment
like to have free memory. This is how to view linux/unix system... for
preformances!! Memory must be fully consumed! If not it pointless to
have big memory and system doesn't know to use it. All your application
memory space is save and store into memory for later use until there is
a need for other application. You should try this.. at first reboot. Run
netscape or mozilla, take time how long it take to startup fully, then
run it again see how fast its loads [or see how much noise ur hard disk
makes ]. If you don't see different then u got a problem.. this how
all operating system should work.

If suspect memory leakage .. just run one application for awhile. It
will crash.
