In short, you don't, every single prog on your system is likely
to be unusable short after rebooting. You need to update the
whole distro, check the rh docs if it's possible to update
install the new version. Dunno, tend to reinstall systems from
scratch.

BTW
Added comp.os.linux.setup to the list of ngs this message will be
send to and set "Followup-to" comp.os.linux.setup, were your
question is much better suited.
