In WiNdOzE, boot and then use command fdisk /mbr. Should be either in path or in directory %winroot%\command\ (where %winroot% usually is c:\windows). Then post lilo.conf here and let's have a look at it. -Timo -- Timo Voipio | Helsinki, Finland | ICBM at: 60 11.800 N 024 52.760 E GeekCode ver 3: GU>CC d s-: a--- C++ UL(+)$>+++$ P+>+++ L++(+) E- W++ N++ o? Now windows boots but since I also did fdisk /mbr, lilo got disinstalled and I can only boot linux via a rescue floppy and the cdrom. The problem is that my cdrom is hda and my hd is hdc and Yast refuses to install lilo on something else than hda or sda. I think I'm just going to switch the cables, it's the easiest. bye, Jacques Charroy |
