Go to http://www.rarlabs.com/ and download the Windows version (it's nagware - you can continue using it after the "trial" period expires). I don't know anything about Mandriva, but if it does not provide you with a rar package, the above site also has a distribution-agnostic Linux version for download. Cheers, Chris |

I downloaded the windows version and it seems to be working great. I noticed that the linux version says command line only. Does that mean you can't run WinRAR if you are using a graphics desktop like KDE? JM |

Some Linux distros have GUI front-ends for rar/unrar, but not all of them. If you use KDE or GNOME you should be able to find one. CC |
