Suse probably has an automounter that can detect when a floppy is inserted, but if you mount the floppy you must remember to umount it. -- The important thing to remember about walking on eggs is not to hop. |

Whatever is available under slackware. You can put it there if you don't have it. I think you are thinking of the mtools suite: mdir, mcopy, etc. Perhaps the fault is with your memory and not with SuSE, per se? If so, perhaps you could reformulate the question so it is slightly less accusatory in tone. Peter |
