Firstly, this is an international ng, it's preferred to write in English so anyone can understand your problem: "Can't install RH using vmware." That's not much information, which version of RH? Did you try out starting the installation without vmware, to rule it out as possible reason? Remote guess: The version of RH you are trying to install is completely EOL and much to old, to work on your shinny new doze PC. Good luck BTW Please try below URL(s) before answering, most people aren't using a browser here to read/write, this is usenet. http://www.safalra.com/special/googlegroupsreply http://cfaj.freeshell.org/google -- Michael Heiming (X-PGP-Sig > GPG-Key ID: EDD27B94) mail: echo zvpunry@urvzvat.qr | perl -pe 'y/a-z/n-za-m/' #bofh excuse 306: CPU-angle has to be adjusted because of vibrations coming from the nearby road |

RHAS is going to always be behind Fedora Core in kernel version and drivers, so if your machine is a very hot new machine with lots of new features, you may have some difficulty with RHAS. Why are you using VMware? Why not install the RHAS 4 on some available disk space, or on another disk, and if you need to run Windows and Linux at the same time with VMware, install the VMware after the fact? |

You have the update 2 install CDs? > I don?t no what i should do! > I have formated my PC and it?s allready showing this failure RHEL is a server distro, which might not work if your hardware is to new or/and not supported by your distro. I'd start over with a recent Knoppix live CD and see if this works better. You could try the current Fedora Core (4 or 5) this might work better on consumer grade hardware. Might be a feature? ;-) Honestly, hard to tell. Again you fail to give us any information, what you did. Did you install Linux into a free partition or disk, so you just need to fix your bootloader config to boot doze + Linux or did you replace the doze installation completely? People want to help you, but it's pretty hard without any data, be my guest scroll down a bit and read our new reader FAQ. "A new reader? Having failed to do that, your article is totally incomprehensible to most, lacking any context. Since you failed at that simple task, most can conclude that there is no point to attempting to assist you. The URLs are repeated below, along with some useful instructions. -- "If you want to post a followup via groups.google.com, don't use the broken "Reply" link at the bottom of the article. It is even more annoying than topposting. -- "If you want to post a followup via groups.google.com, don't use the broken "Reply" link at the bottom of the article.
