| I ty to install Debian on a Compaq Deskpro XL 6200. It has a SCSI adapter (probably AMD) for the hardisk and the CD-ROM. During the installation the hardisk is not recognized, so i can't install the system. Can anyone help me? Tnx |

I'd try out Knoppix at first and see if it mentions the hd, then check which module it loaded, you probably need to preload while installing. Consult the docs of your distro how to go about it.
