Default Sound delay?

Hello,

I have just installed Suse Linux and it works well.. my only problem for now
is a sound delay.. If, for example, I close a window, the sound effect
comes 1 or 2 seconds after...

Any clue? is this a hardware or software problem? it is a C-MEDIA sound
card...

Thanks for your help.

Most likely your system is periodically running out of resources, so it
cannot play sound in real time.

The usual remedy is more RAM.
