| Is there a way to set up printing like this... I want to use an application's normal print facilities to print on A4 or letter etc, and then force the print rendering engine (i.e. CUPS or its equivalent) to put it on one A4 sheet in A5 format so that I get two pages printed per A4 sheet of paper. I know some applications can shrink the pages, but I prefer the much more useful feature described above of letting the print engine manage the final rendering so that I don't get into problems with repagination, fonts or/and other issues that inherently go with choosing a different page format. As far as the application is concerned, it thinks it is printing to an A4 sheet of paper. TIA |
