Hi,
I can see "timer frequency" from "process type and feature" item of
kernel configraion...

If I set it 1000Mz, that means timer interrupt will occur 1000 times for
a second?

Is that right?

1000Mz I understand is "1000M CPU cycles per second". I used to set lower
numbers, but this last kernel (2.6.21.5) I set the 1000Mz for at least one
machine. So far, I can't tell you any difference.
