| i installed usb pci 2.0 card in linux redhat 8.0. however, i think linux did not detect it. also, the usb does not come with linux driver. the box of the usb says the name "ali". is there generic or universal driver to let it work on linux?. i cheked the dmesg and i did not find "usb" word. however i found the following statement in the kernel message " serial driver 5.5 with many ports multiport share_irq serial pci isa_pnp enable" is it means here linux detected my usb which contain 4 ports? thanks |
