When I look at /var/log/messages - I see a ton of: vsftpd(pam_unix)[11070]: authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty= ruser= rhost= vsftpd(pam_unix)[11070]: check pass; user unknown · Note: rhost= has the gateways ip Why is root trying to log into my ftp?? Has anyone seen this and shed some light in helping me in resolving this annoying error. Thanks in advance, Alain |
