Default Weird Video Artifacts

I'm running Suse 8.2 with an Asus MX-33LNE onboard Trident Cyberblade/i
video.

The video has weird artifacts when rendering a web page or some
instances of fast moving video. They look like brief flickers of lines.

I've been adjusting my video settings, tweaking the bios to try to get
rid of it and no luck. Any ideas on how I can resolve this other than
chucking this motherboard (it's not the greatest).
