Default wrong X behavior with gdm

Hi all,
I'm experiencing the following problem.
I've a Debian Sarge machine (srv) configured for remote X access using
gdm as windows manager. This machine activates also gdmchooser to allow
indirect connection towards other machines.
When I try to connect to this machine with 2 different X sessions, one
calling X -query srv :1 vt1 and the other calling X -indirect srv :2
vt2, sometimes (in an unpredictable manner), the gdmchooser is returned
also to the query session instead of gdmgreeter (especially the first
time I connect).
I'm using a local XFree 4.3.99-901 (the one coming natively with ltsp).
I guess it might be a problem due to timing of query/indirect session,
but i can't figure out how to solve it.
Amy idea?
Thanks for your help!
Stefano
