| Applying SP 4 to SQL Server 2000 I run the following command: setup sapwd="<password>" instancename="local" targetdir="C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server" and get the following error: Windows XP Setup: Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure system components No log file gets created - the error happens after just a couple of seconds. I get it whether or not SQL's services are shut down. There are no other applications running. I've also tried giving it the machine name for instancename (as displayed in the Enterprise Manager tree). What am I doing wrong? Thanks Andy |
