| ok I have done a google search but its the usual run around. Not being able to find out how to change the host name (in the lom) and the IP address and subnet. hostname is war-nfc solaris10 hostname=netraX1 They are different a "show" in lom> returns hostname war-nfc power-on-decline off power-on-delay off ip-address not set ip-netmask not set ip-gateway not set how can i change the hostname and the ip-* entries. This is my first bit of sun equipment and currently like it but I would like to know how to change these. Thanks for your time in advance |

Get and install patch 110208-20 perform a 'lom -G default' Now the hostname will be updated according to your actual (Solaris) hostname automatically.
