Default memory compatibility

Hi all,
I've inherited from my IT dept. an Enterprise 250, and I've an old Ultra
1 with much memory. Are the modules compatible, i.e. can I put Ultra 1
memory modules on the Enterprise?
Best regards,
Stefano

Yes, the same DIMMs go in both systems.
eg 501-5691, 501-3136, 501-2480, 501-2622, 501-2479.
The U1 is arranged 2 x DIMMs to a bank.
The E250 has 4 x DIMMs to a bank.

This very useful page used to be on Sun's site, but now you need a
contract to get at it.

But some commerical company has taken a copy.

That should I expect answer your question, if you dig out the part
numbers, or at least the sizes if they are 3rd party.
