jumbo frames ipge

I'm wondering if I can put the following line in /etc/system:

set ipge:accept_jumbo = 1

or is it:

set /dev/ipge:accept_jumbo = 1

Is this the right way to make this variable persistent? ndd tells me
it does exist but I cannot set it with any ipge interface plumbed.
